Member Status - Active, Pending, Denied or Revoked
- Admins and Moderators can manage memberships
- Members do not have access to a member list, but can search for members
- Moderators can’t change the Role of a member (i.e. Member/Admin/Moderator) - only Admins can do this
- Managing members' status can be done from the apps or website, not mobile web
- Member lists can be searched by member name or location
- Member lists can be sorted by last name, location, joined date, or item count
Active Status
Active members are those that are accepted into the community. Once Active, a member can only be revoked from the community.
Pending Status
Pending members are those that have requested to join, but haven’t been reviewed by an admin. Pending members do have some capabilities in the community, but their items and comments won’t be posted until they are approved by an admin. You can either approve or deny them.
Denied Status
Denied members are those that their request to join was denied. They were never accepted into the community. Please enter a reason into the dialog box when prompted. This message will be sent to the member via VarageSale private message, and will be visible as a notation on the Community page for the member to reference. The status is also visible in the Members dashboard for other admins and moderators to refer.
Revoked status
Revoked members are those that have been members of the community, but have been removed for some reason. Please enter a reason into the dialog box when prompted. This message will be sent to the member via VarageSale private message, and will be visible as a notation on the Community page for the member to reference. The status is also visible in the Members dashboard for other admins and moderators to refer.
